The
Essential Tool for DC Contractors
The
chapter was founded on April 29, 1929
with 30 general contractor members and
incorporated September 6 of that year as
The Master Builders Association. Five
years later on April 5, 1934, they
became a Chapter of the Associated
General Contractors of America. In
October, 1995, the Chapter began using
the name of Associated General
Contractors of Metropolitan Washington,
DC, as they are currently known today.
The membership consists of General
Contractors, Construction Managers,
Design-Builders, Specialty Contractors
and Associate Members representing
service providers and other industry
professionals.
